New Burgess Wellbeing Cat Food Range

Burgess Pet Care used their 200 years of pet nutrition expertise to develop a new Wellbeing food range for cats that is completely grain-free with a range of functional health benefits including weight control, digestive health and skin & coat condition.

Because Burgess understand pets have unique nutritional needs and suffer from health problems such as obesity, dental cavities and digestive issues just like humans, they made their new three-strong range – specially formulated by in-house vet Dr Suzanne Moyes – naturally grain free, with nutritious ingredients that target problem areas.

Their ‘Slender’ food, for example, includes amino acids that helps support a healthy metabolism and burn fat – great for cats that need to watch their waistlines – as well as protein for fullness and cranberry extract to balance urinary PH.

Their ‘Skin & Coat’, which contains linseed and biotin to give a glossy coat and ‘hairball control’ to move hair through the digestive tract, is aimed at long haired or indoor cats that spend more time grooming.

And their Burgess ‘Sensitive’ cat food is boosted with natural prebiotics from chicory and beet pulp to help beneficial gut bacteria, as well as yucca extract, which helps neutralize unpleasant smells from the litter tray.

With an estimated 70 per cent of cats suffering dental issues by the age of three, Burgess also added another key benefit – ‘Dental Defence Technology’ – a specialist ingredient combined with natural fibre that helps reduce plaque formation and support healthy teeth and gums. Free from artificial colours and flavours, and containing a single source of British protein with healthy pulses, we hope your cats will agree that our new Burgess Wellbeing Cat food not only tastes good but also supports whisker to tail health!
