Feeding Instructions
Because hamsters and gerbils are foragers, you should feed them twice each day, providing half of their daily consumption at each feeding. This will ensure proper nutrition and prevent selective feeding. Make sure your pet always has plenty of clean, fresh water to drink.
Changing Diets
Hamsters and gerbils have a highly specialized and sensitive digestive tract. When changing diets, it is best to mix old and new diet, changing over the course of 7-10 days.
Storage
To maximize freshness, reseal the bag between uses and store in a cool, dry place.

This food is great! I have a very fussy young hamster that did not like any food I bought her, no matter how good the quality. Was a bit concerned when I saw this had a lot of pellets because most hams don't like these. But these are not the ordinary common hay/alfalfa pellets found in most dry mixes...they made of lots of nummy stuff and my fussy little one wolfed them down, both soaked and dry. She also seems to like the other little bits in it. Thanks for bringing this to us in SA!!!!
