Activated Carbon is the highest grade, pelleted activated carbon available ensuring the absorption of colour taint often caused by the tannins in bogwood, toxins and heavy metals found in some water sources and helps to reduce that "river" type smell that can build up in a mature aquarium. A suitably sized filter media bag is included for ease of use. 120g

When to use?

How to use?
  • Rinse well in tap water, place in filter media bag provided, and add to a filter compartment.
  • Replace after 6-8 weeks or as water clarity degrades.
  • Remove when treating the aquarium with any medication.
  • Can be used to remove excess medication at the end of a treatment or in the event of an overdose.
Use in conjunction with Filter Media Bags.
