Burgess Timothy Hay is the absolute best Hay, because of Rabbits being Fibrefores they need to keep their teeth and gut healthy with high fibre, Timothy Hay is perfect because not only does my house-trained bunny (please do not keep your bunny in Hutches but incorporated into the family, read on-line) love it, and he eats his body size of it daily, it contains 60% fibre. The other Hays in SA are not dust-extracted and a low quality product that only has at the most 30% fibre which is not sufficient for Rabbits. As a Pet owner we are responsible for our pets health. Timothy Hay and fresh grass hand-picked (discard fresh grass or Dandelion not eaten in half an hour as it will go rancid and give your bunny a gut problem which means a visit to your vet) must make up 80% of your Rabbits diet, that's why the only choice of Hay is the Burgess Timothy Hay.
