Pet Habitat is very pleased to have partnered with Cermedia in order to offer their fantastic product range in South Africa. The product in question is called MarinePure and is the most technically advanced bio-media on the market. It has been extremely well received in the United States and looks to potentially revolutionize how effectively our filters are able to cope with tank and pond inhabitants!

So what is all the fuss about and why should you give MarinePure filter media a try in your system?

MarinePure is much more environmentally friendly than using live rock that has been harvested out of the ocean

So how does the filter media work and what does it do?

Essentially MarinePure is designed to specifically target ammonia and nitrite removal and to minimise nitrates by providing an enormous surface area for beneficial bacteria in your aquarium or pond to colonise. The product is far more efficient than anything else available as can be seen in the chart below.
